Who we are

We are Datosima and our website address is: https://datosima.fi. Personal data is processed and protected in accordance with GDPR. In this data protection statement, we describe the procedures we follow when collecting and processing personal data. Your privacy and protecting your personal data is important to us.

Personal data

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘who can be identified directly or indirectly’). We may need to collect, usually by online forms, personal information about you such as name, e-mail address, company or organisation you represent, phone number, message content. We do this usually by asking you to fill out online forms, or by prospecting your data from online sources such as LinkedIn or company websites.

Non-personnal data

Our sites may also contain links to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, for which Datosima is not responsible. We use technologies that provide us non-personal information about site visitors. We use those statistics to evaluate our websites’ usage.

This website uses the Privacy Suite for WordPress by Complianz to collect and record Browser and Device-based Consent. For this functionality, your IP address is anonymized and stored in our database. This service does not process any personally identifiable information and does not share any data with the service provider.

Processing data

We do not process the personal data further in any manner which is legally incompatible with the above-mentioned purposes. We also do not store the data for any longer than is legally permissible. The data is limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.

The information collected is used mainly for communication between Datosima and a person, who left the e-mail address, to send an offer or to manage a business/partnership relationship. Entities, formed from the collected data, may be used for analytical purposes, but such entities do not contain personal data. Such analytics is limited to general statistics, such as number of contact requests, dates and request for quotation forms.

Comments

We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use due to our anti-spam service. The information typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent  (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

In other words, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Who we share your data with
